In 2022, I spent most of my time traveling and camping, exploring the coastline and immersing myself in the wilderness. My journeys took me through the Toolara State Forest, Great Sandy National Park, and Noosa National Park, where I documented the ever-changing landscapes, shifting light, and raw beauty of these natural spaces. Driving up and down the coast, I captured moments that reflect both the solitude and freedom of life on the road.

Returning to the same location where we shot Lady Wyba, Eliza Rowan and I once again focused on the human form—this time incorporating trees and natural vegetation as an integral part of the composition. Our goal was to explore the connection between the body and the environment, blurring the lines between humans and nature.
Once again, we chose to shoot on 35mm film to emphasize the raw, organic essence of the project. The film’s natural grain and imperfections added depth to the imagery, reinforcing the unfiltered authenticity we aimed to capture.
